Openness in Practice: New Visions of Collaborative Publishing from The Journal of Critical Digital Librarianship

It was a lot of fun participating in a panel with colleagues Leah Duncan (Davidson College), Jeanine Finn (Claremont Colleges), and Kae Bara Kratcha (Columbia University). Our discussion focused on navigating the successes and challenges of open peer review—especially within the context of the Journal of Critical and Digital Librarianship—and included reflections on the future direction of academic publishing in Library and Information Science.
